By filling in any of the forms you are giving your consent for Radiance Wellness to hold your personal information. This information will be held with any clinical records and is intended to enable me to give you the best possible service. It is also held for insurance purposes and to contact you when needed. I will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected and all records remain confidential between yourself and me.

Storing, retaining and sharing your information

All case notes are securely stored in a locked filing cabinet. When I am working in a mobile capacity, I carry case notes with me and keep them safe at all times. My mobile phone and my computer are encrypted and password protected. Adults’ records are retained for as long as legally required (currently 7 years) following the last occasion treatment was given. Children’s records are retained until their 25th or 26th birthday, depending on the exact age of the child when their treatment ended.

If you have enquired about massage and not followed through with an appointment, I will delete any information and emails after 1 year.

If you become a client and we do not have contact for 3 years, I will delete your contact details and emails.

Should there be a need for me to seek guidance and clarity about your case from my supervisor, I will mention only the necessary case details, on an anonymous basis, in our confidential session. This is routine for health and wellbeing providers.

Your information will be kept strictly confidential unless there are legal grounds for me to disclose something which you have told me to a third party. I will always inform you if I feel that disclosure is necessary and seek your permission and co-operation first. I might also need to contact your doctor for medical reasons, and for this purpose, I will also seek your permission.

Accessing your information

Your records are only accessed by myself, either for clinical or research purposes. You have the right to request a copy or to destroy your records at any time if you wish to terminate our working relationship. Please complete this form to make a request regarding the personal details I hold for you or to make a complaint about a data breach so that we can seek a resolution. If you are still not satisfied, then you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).


At times I use SumUp for taking card payments. Third-party service providers for online payments and other payment transaction processors have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your transactions. For these providers, I recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. Once you leave my website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

Accessing, updating or deleting your information

Your records are accessed by myself, for clinical purposes. You have the right to request a copy of your records at any time. At any time, you can visit this page to request to view, update, delete your personal details or report a data breach, if you are concerned that one a has taken place. This can include requesting to see the personal information I hold about you, updating or requesting deletion of information. If requesting to see information, this will be emailed to you.


With your permission, I may in the future send you an occasional newsletter by email about my practice, special offers, handy tips and other updates. You will need to positively opt in either online or on your initial consent consultation form to receive these updates.


When you click on links on my website, they may direct you away from my site. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and I encourage you to read their privacy statements.


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
